You’ll learn good grooming such as hair care, facial, wardrobe, and nail care. If you dream of being a supermodel this is the class for you!
Ballet/Tap – Beginner Age: 4 - 6 How much fun it is to dance! In this class, your child will begin to lean the art of ballet along with the musical steps of tap. Learning new ways of expressing themselves in an artistic, physical way will make their experience fun and exciting. Introducing your child to dance is one of the greatest gifts you could give them. Note: 1/2 hour ballet, 1/2 hour tap
Ballet/Tap – Intermediate Age: 7 - 12 Keep the fun going! This class is designed to expand upon the basic skills children have already learned in previous ballet classes. During the first part of the class, your child will learn new and advanced ballet movements that will help them increase their strength and grace in movement. Half way through the class, your child will practice their present dance ability as well as lean new creative tap dance movements. Note: 1/2 hour ballet, 1/2 hour tap
Mom and Tot Creative Dance Age: 2 - 4 Now you can participate along with your child in this exciting class of beginner dance movements. This is a great way to spend quality time with your child, something your child will never forget! Dance with them, stretch with them and laugh with them!
Tiny Tappers Age: 3 - 6 TAP, TAP, TAP! Boys and girls will love the excitement of TAPPING! The art of tap dance is energetic, fun and a great way to develop rhythm and coordination as well as basic motor skills. Your toddler will learn beginning tap steps and eventually a routine! Best of all, your child will begin to build up a positive self esteem at a very early age.
Baby Ballet Age: 3 - 5 It’s never too early to stimulate your child’s creativity and energy through ballet! In this class, your little one will be taught through exercise, movements, mime, arm carriage and free expression. Remember parents, dance promotes discipline, coordination, memory, stamina, and many other positive characteristics which can be very beneficial to your child’s future.
Ballroom Dance Age: 16 - Adult Learn to do what all the stars are doing, DANCE! Take this class and you too can learn some of the most popular steps around. In this class, you will learn various styles of dancing such as mambo/salsa, tango, rumba, swing and more! Don’t wait another minute. It’s time for you to get up and hit the dance floor! Two class levels are offered; beginning (for inexperienced dancers), and intermediate (for those that have completed the beginning class or have some experience).
Breakdancing Age: 5 - Adult Come learn to Breakdance or refine your skills with some of the best dancers in the world – “The Brickheadz” these mind-blowing masters of breaking will be offering ongoing classes for Beginners and for more daring advanced breakdancers. NOTE: Registered Participants will be provided with knee and elbow pads as well as “head –spin” hats.
Regional Mexican Folkloric Dance Age: 9 - Adult Learn the historic and deeply cultural “Folkloric” Dances of Mexico’s diverse states and regions with Flor de Corazon Mexican Folkloric Ballet. Classes will cover the dynamic and beautiful dance steps of Chihuahua, Jalisco, Guerrero, VeraCruz, etc.
Salsa Age: 13 - Adult Salsa instruction in learning the popular dance that enables you to dance the night away at your favorite local Salsa dance club or venue. Early evening Dances will be held at the Cultural Center once per month.
Hip-Hop Dance Age: 6 - 12 Learn the modern dance of hip hop with style! From the funky old school dance came the birth of a unique style of dancing that would become one of the most danced styles today, new school hip hop. In this class you will learn a combination of jazz and new school hip hop that will allow you to move freely putting your own style into each move!
