Viva Italia Saturday March 15 5 PM The Berwyn Cultural Center To celebrate the Italian American tradition of honoring St. Joseph, the Berwyn Cultural Center is inviting everyone to come to a special "live" performance by Officer Tony Pellegrino, a feast of Italian delicacies, and a "Month of Italian Cinema", featuring films by legendary Italian directors, Martin Scorcese, Francis Ford Coppolla, Frederico Fellini, Sergio Leone, and Antonella Attini.

Easter EGGstravaganza Saturday March 8 Bring the whole family for a day full of fun activities at the Community Center! We'll be decorating cookies, painting eggs and more! All children will have the opportunity to take a photo with the Easter Bunny to take home.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt Friday March 21 In collaboration with the North Berwyn Park District, the City of Berwyn will host the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Bring the whole family out for a great time hunting for eggs! The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures after the hunt.
Breakfast with the Bunny Saturday March 22 Start your fun-filled day early in the morning with a warm, home-made breakfast! The breakfast menu will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and juice. All kids will have the opportunity to enjoy their breakfast in the company of the Easter Bunny! In addition, they will receive a present from the Easter Bunny and will get a photo to take home for lasting memories.
North Berwyn Park District Easter Egg Hunt Saturday March 22 After enjoying a wonderful breakfast with the Easter Bunny, come on out to the Best Easter Egg Hunt in town! We guarantee enough eggs for all the kids! All eggs will be filled with goodies and some with a special prize. The Easter Bunny will also make a sop by the Egg Hunt to say hello to all the children. Children will be hunting by age group.
Easter Basket Delivery Saturday March 22 Sign up your child to receive an Easter Basket from the Easter Bunny himself! The Easter Bunny will go to the door steps of your home to deliver your personalized basket to your child. Must register in advance and drop off all baskets to be delivered between March 17 through March 20. All baskets will be delivered on Saturday, March 22 between the hours of 12 and 3 pm. Service only available to North Berwyn residents.
Poet Laureate Kevin Stein Thursday April 3 7PM ONE NIGHT ONLY! Illinois Poet Laureate Kevin Stein at the Berwyn Cultural Center Join 16th Street Theater Artistic Director Ann Filmer in welcoming Illinois Poet Laureate Kevin Stein to the Berwyn Cultural Center. Mr. Stein will read from his work, and actors will perform staged poems by both Mr. Stein and poet/playwright Susan Hahn. The presentation will be followed by a moderated discussion with the poets, actors, and audience on “Poetry as Theater.” FREE but space is very limited! First come, first serve. The Ascension of Carlotta by Will Dunne Directed by Ann Filmer April 4 - May 4 Alice Kowalski works at a 7-11. Romeo Brown’s dream is to rob a 7-11. Drunk on love during the last springtime of the 20th century, they travel the land of Berwyn seeing if two people from two different planets can be both armed and engaged. Will Dunne is an award-winning playwright whose works have been staged internationally in three languages. He is one of only five playwrights to be selected three consecutive times for the U.S. National Playwrights Conference under the Artistic Direction of Lloyd Richards. Kids Garage Sale Saturday May 17 Age: 6-13 with parent Hey kids, do you have way too many toys you don’t play with anymore and you just don’t want to throw them away? Give other children the opportunity to have as much fun with them as you did. Come and sell your old toys at the North Berwyn Park District’s annual Kids Garage Sale. Hey you might even find a new toy or two that you might like. NOTE: Tables will be provided as a spot.
