Project Grow Informational Meeting

WHAT IS PROJECT GROW?

Project Grow is a community based initiative with a goal to beautify parks in the North Berwyn community.

Specific locations will be identified as parks open to volunteers providing weekly  upkeep and other area’s will be improved and maintained weekly by park district staff.

Project grow will work in combination with the recently completed tree inventory. This inventory of trees identified critical trees that are a potential danger to the public in the event of a storm, high winds or by just falling over.

The second stage of the tree inventory is to identify areas in need of new trees and planting trees in the areas in need.

Calling all farmers,gardeners, and hobby greenhouse enthusiasts willing to donate their time and expertise.

          (children must be accompanied by an adult)
