This sculpture class will expose participants to a wide array of professional, quality art materials, giving them an opportunity to explore sculpture in a new and exciting way. Beginning Photography

If your child has the desire to learn more about photography, this class is for them!Each lesson is designed to teach students the basics of photography while allowing them to explore their own artistic style. Drawing & Painting
This class will present students with a weekly lesson in art and art history. The students will then adapt and transform the lesson to create works of art that are truly inspirational and personal. Multiple drawing and painting techniques and mediums will be covered during the 8 week timeline, giving participants the opportunity and freedom to explore the many options an artist has to choose from. Mixed Media Masterpieces
In the art world there are no limits, so why limit yourself to one medium? In this class, students will have the opportunity to sculpt, collage, paint, draw, and more! Mini Master Artist
Mini Master Artist classes will give children the opportunity to learn all about a famous artist each week. We willthen learn their techniques and recreate one of their most famous pieces. Art Camp
Discover a world of inspiration and creativity at Art Camp! Classes are designed to encourage expression, imagination and nurture your budding artists creative side. The week long camp sessions will include field trips where we will explore multiple art techniques such as painting, drawing and sculpting.
Campers will receive a camp t-shirt (must be worn on all field trips), drawstring bag, and a lunch bag.
Camp Counselors are trained in First Aid, CPR, customer service and behavior management in order to provide a positive camp experience for all participants. North Berwyn Park District conducts background checks on all staff.

Open Studio
If your hectic schedule and limited space has prevented you from being creative, then our new drop in open studio hours are perfect for you! Simply purchase a punch card good for 5 visits from our front desk and drop in when the mood strikes. Basic materials for painting and drawing projects will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring materials from home as long as they are non-toxic and do not require specialized ventilation. Please see below for more information.
•While this is not an instructor lead class, each open studio session will be staffed by park district personnel who will assist the artists with materials and offer advice and guidance as needed.
•There will be a limit of 1 canvas per visit.
•Each person attending open studio hours must register for a punch card at the front desk before attending.
•Open Studio participants are able to store current projects at the studio, finished pieces must be taken home.
•Participants are expected to clean and put away any materials used, and clean up their work space before leaving.
•If no participants have arrived 45 minutes after the start of open studio hours, the park district reserves the right to close the studio for that session.

Nothing prevents a good program from running more than waiting until the last minute to register for it. Classes that have a low enrollment are generally cancelled approximately one week prior to the first meeting date. Please register for your programs as early as possible to avoid cancellations.
