ART PROGRAMS: Art Programs have the potential to help improve a student's memory and concentration skills, develop decision-making and critical thinking skills, enhance communication and listening skills, but also encourage focus and discipline.
Let’s share our love of animals, big and small! Each week we will learn how to paint some of the many different animals of the world, the ones covered in fur, in feathers, in scales and much more! Bring a picture you love, or one will be provided, and we will have fun telling a story about the animals we love and love to paint!
Each week, participants will design and build a fun, one-of-a-kind sculpture inspired by bold and imaginative artists. From Jeff Koons to Andy Warhol, students will explore the work of influential contemporary artists who redefined the world of sculpture—and create their own masterpieces along the way!
In the art world there are no limits, so why limit yourself to one medium? In this class, students will have the opportunity to sculpt, collage, paint, draw, and more! Weekly lessons will be presented at class time, giving participants the opportunity to explore the wide world of mixed media art, where the only limitation is your imagination.
No paints, crayons or pencils for this class! Just a lot of imagination, a pair of scissors, a bottle of glue, and all of the different colors and textures we can think of to make our works of art. Like a quilt made of cloth, a mosaic made of tiles, or a stained glass, beautiful works of art are often made from pieces of materials. It will be a lot of fun to create a different picture each week with the little objects that surround us each day!
Get ready to explore the colorful world of art! Each week, students will dive into a fun and inspiring lesson that blends art history with hands-on creativity. From famous masterpieces to modern techniques, we’ll use it all as a jumping-off point for students to create artwork that’s uniquely their own. We’ll experiment with all kinds of drawing and painting styles and materials, giving young artists the freedom to try new things, make bold choices, and bring their ideas to life. It’s the perfect class for anyone ready to learn, create, and express themselves in a big, vibrant way!
Calling all mini chefs! If your child loves getting creative in the kitchen, this class is the perfect recipe for fun. Over 8 delicious weeks, young foodies will whip up a variety of tasty no-bake treats—from chocolate-covered goodies and fruit parfaits to cheesy snacks and crunchy trail mixes! No oven? No problem! It’s all about mixing, layering, decorating, and most of all—tasting! A hands-on, mess-friendly class where flavor and fun are always on the menu. * Please notify us of any allergies upon registration
