We value your opinions and suggestions. Berwyn residents are invited to attend board meetings held every second Thursday of the month at the Community Center, 1619 Wesley Avenue at 5:30 pm. Meetings are open to the public, interested citizens are encouraged to attend these meetings. Persons desiring to make public comment at meetings are to register with the Board Secretary at least 15 minutes prior to start of a meeting. Such comments will be addressed during the Public Comment portion of the meeting.
Bad Weather?/Class Cancellations
Programs may be cancelled due to severe or prohibitive weather. Check for postings or ask your instructor about the Emergency Closing radio station to listen too. If a program is cancelled, all participants will be notified and a maximum of one session per program will be rescheduled if possible. Note that for special events a rain date may or may not be scheduled. If any additional questions please contact us at (708) 749-4900.
The North Berwyn Park District believes that all residents should have the opportunity to participate in recreational programs. The park district will attempt to provide assistance for residents faced with financial hardship, or, in need of temporary assistance. Please contact the Community Center 2 weeks prior to your program start date, for qualifying requirements.
The North Berwyn Park District also participates in the Illinois Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS). This program assists low-income working families in paying for child care services. Parents must meet the State of Illinois' income and family size. Visit www.actforchildren.org for more information.

Lost & Found
The North Berwyn Park District is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Lost and found items are kept for a limited time only. If you have lost something please contact the front desk immediately.
The North Berwyn Park District and Sokol Tabor Organization have an inter-organizational agreement that allows patrons who participate in park district activities to utilize the south end of the Sokol Tabor parking lot. The lot is located directly behind the Community Center (to the east). North Berwyn Park District sincerely thanks the Sokol Tabor Organization for their cooperation in securing this arrangement.
Please also note that Wesley Ave is reserved for resident parking only. Also, there is only 15 minute parking as well as handicap parking located directly in front of the building on Wesley Ave. Cars parked on Wesley Ave for more than 15 minutes will be ticketed by the City of Berwyn.
