16th St. Summer Children's Theater production: One Being to Another

When Earth falls apart, 6 human kids and their emotional support parrot are sent to a mysterious new planet to start over. But it turns out… they’re not alone. A group of alien kids were sent too, with their own secrets, fears, and a very dramatic space cat.

At first, suspicion divides them. Invisible lines drawn, and tools hoarded. But beneath the chaos, questions emerge: Why were we really sent? Who do we become when no one is watching? And can we build something better than the world we came from?

This funny, moving, and adventurous sci-fi story is about what happens when kids take the lead, build something new, and find their voice together.
